FIREFLY LIGHT
GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, 2023
My goal for this project was to create a product that provided various functions in a chic but compact body.

I achieved this through creating a prototype of a light that could be a standalone camping lantern but also a spool of string lights for illuminating a whole campsite. By creating something with both function and wonder, I hoped to target a market that ranged from casual family campers looking for a fun, entertaining, and whimsical camping implement to aesthetic-focused adult 'glampers' who seek out beautiful, well designed pieces of gear in a market typically full of rugged utilitarian objects. This project also included creating a 'family' brand with my project partner, Rachel Weitzel.
