My goal for this project was to design and build a chair.

To do this, I began with ideation and sketching and eventually settled on a concept made of four flat plywood cuts joined together by bent steel brackets. This project was all about the details — I paid close attention to everything from blending the edge banding to carefully lining up the drives on the screws.
